JEWELRY ~ I create my jewelry mostly from older pieces that I take apart and recompose. I use "rediscovered" beads, buttons, clip earrings, brooches and shells (with the occasional contemporary accent piece) for a totally unique look. I use smooth beads at the nape for comfort and toggle clasps for easy fastening. Each is one of a kind!
ART ~ After a year concentrating on soft pastels, I am now working in acrylics. Paintings in each medium are serene and peaceful. I sell only framed originals -- no prints or reproductions will ever be available, so you'll have the only one.
NEW!! MUSIC ~ Perfect ambience for your special gathering! The bowed psaltery (one of my two instruments is pictured at left) may be the sweetest musical instrument you've never heard of. Its soothing sound is somewhat like a violin, but it echoes. (First, say it "saltery." The "p" is silent as in "psalm.") I usually bring my psaltery to shows and will play for you, or you can visit the Rappahannock Art League First Friday evenings through this fall. I am donating music for events sponsored by non-profit organizations and art groups. I am available for open houses, receptions, teas etc. for private and business events.
