Welcome 2008 with something beautiful!
I am honored to announce that my jewelry was awarded second place in handcrafts -- out of 103 vendors! -- at the Gloucester Daffodil Festival March 29-30, 2008.
And my booth was awarded People's Choice Best Display at the Art League of Gloucester's Art on the Green April 26.
JEWELRY ~ I create my jewelry from older pieces that I take apart and recompose. I use "rediscovered" beads, buttons, clip earrings, brooches and shells for a totally unique look. I can design a new updated piece for you from your favorite, but outdated, costume jewelry.
ART ~ I am primarily working in chalk/soft pastels at this time. The art on this page is entitled "Breathe," my interpretation of the timeless sighs of the waves. The layers of pastels on watercolor paper are accented with white acrylic paint. I accept commissions.

My work is available from me at art shows, festivals and markets in the Chesapeake Bay region of Virginia. I hope to expand into the Richmond area later in 2008. I accept commissions for art and jewelry.
